Our Employment Application Kit contains the following:

The Employment Application form identifies the position you are applying for, personal contact details, information about your education and qualifications, employment history and asks you to identify two referees.

It is a requirement under the Aged Care Act that all aged and community care employees complete a Criminal History Check form prior to commencing employment. This information is forwarded to the Australian Federal Police who are responsible for identifying any criminal offences and notifying Feros Care. Only successful applicants will be required to undergo an Australian Federal Police check.

In addition, all applicants for positions with Feros Care are required to complete a Statutory Declaration form certifying since the age of 16 they have not been convicted of murder or sexual assault and/or convicted of, and/or sentenced to imprisonment for any other form of assault.

Feros Care cannot employ any person who has a history of murder, physical or sexual assault offence.

It is preferable for the Criminal History Check and Statutory Declaration forms to be signed by the applicant, appropriately witnessed and submitted with the Employment Application Kit. Alternatively, they can be completed and brought to an arranged interview. Both of these forms must be completed prior to commencing employment with Feros Care.

Applications can be submitted on-line or in hard copy via the postal address or fax number provided in the vacancy listing.
